Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Its proximity to the Alps ensures that the snow-capped mountain peaks always hover above the city and its scenic lake. I've been to Lucerne twice (Sep 2011 and March 2012), each time very briefly on business. My first visit was during a torrential downpour and my colleagues and I had no time to spend in town. Fortunately, on my second visit, the weather was stunning and I had just enough free time for a lunch and a stroll through town. I've uploaded a few photos from the second visit on this page.
