Cremeria Sette Chiese: Gelati

Named after the seven churches of the Complex of Santo Stefano, this "Cremeria" serves delicious artisanal Italian gelati of all flavours. It is located on Via Santo Stefano, near the religious complex. I stumbled across it one evening while walking back from dinner and indulged on a delicious gelato. No seating is available, so it is mainly a takeway place.

Conserving old world feel and decoration, Ristorante Diana has been an establishment in Bologna since the 1920s. It serves authentic emiliana cuisine, including tortelli, tortellini, lasagne and fritti misti al bolognese. With the white table cloth and high end service comes a slightly higher price than other restaurants in town, but nothing exorbitant. Do not be fooled by the picture of a wide-eyed "Rodrigo" outside, Ristorante Rodrigo is one of the "musts" in Bologna. It serves excellent and authentic bolognese dishes. The dining room has a very old-world feel to it with dusty old bottles of wine and books - quite atmospheric. Although Rodrigo is on the expensive side for Bologna, where restaurants are generally inexpensive, there will be no regrets when you walk out of the restaurant!
