45 minutes from the Mediterranean, but 2000 metres above sea level! El Arz is very hard to reach as you must drive up a narrow winding mountain road along Qadisha Valley. It is best to go with someone who knows the way... let them drive so you can enjoy the views! |
| | There is skiing further up the mountain. I was told that Les Cèdres has the best snow in Lebanon (being the highest), it does not have the best facilities for skiing. |
| | Spectacular views of Mont Liban. |

indogus Sat May 2, 2009 09:22 UTC We had a great time at Al Arz in Mid-April. Just caught the end of the Ski season, getting 4 good days in on the slopes. Recommend avoiding St BErnard Hotel and Begdhedi Ski Hire if you are up that way... |
