The Riverina is the best. I saw waves gushing onto the eroded cliffs mercilessly as if they are trying to leave a legacy. The clear blue skies and the vast ocean enchanted me. I could just sit by th beach the whole day enjoying the breeze blowing onto my face(I put extra moisturiser). |
| | The false dawn I woke up 5am and walked to the beach, hoping to see sun rise over the horizon(but didnt see it). But it is a nice meditating walk. You can hear the tweeting of the birds getting louder as the sky brightened. The sound of the waves seemed to give way for the morning sun too. Nature is just amazing. It brings sorrow to humble us and brings joy to lift us up. My thought that day was that every day is a new beginning and every person deserves to be forgiven and to forgive. |
| | A pebble beach The difference between the beach here and most beaches is that it is packed with pebbles instead of sand. Every weekends and even evenings, you can see people lugging their beach mats to the beach to enjoy the sun. Some even do it nude. To them the sun is precious as they can enjoy it only for at most 6 months in a year. They even rent beach umbrellas, something unheard of in SIngapore. But it is just so beautiful to live in a land of four seasons. |

The old gate looks particularly enticing. | globetrott Wed Jan 3, 2007 16:54 UTC a great page bringing back great memories ! | Jetgirly Wed Jun 14, 2006 21:06 UTC Fantastic shot of the sunfish in Genova- when I was there in February I was mesmerized by that fish! I'm such a geek- I recently learned they can grow to be up to 14 feet high! |
