A great person once said “The sophistication of a city can be measured by the beauty of its town square” (OK, I just made that up) but the one in Poznan has much to keep you entertained. The Town Hall at its centre has no doubt been the scene for many a happy marriage. I’m not sure the grim reaper type figure in this picture bodes well for this couple though!

Horny High Jinks

Switzerland has the Cuckoo clock, London the chimes of Big Ben and Poznan well… a goat clock! Each day just follow the crowds to stare in wonderment at the town hall clock. Gasp in amazement as at the approach of 12.00 two mechanical goats emerge from the clock and commence horny high jinks. Not once or even twice but 12 times. When I visited in December they even had little Christmas coats on.
