    Getting TO/AROUND: From the 11 June 2006 Merseyrail opens the multi-million pound eco-friendly Liverpool South Parkway Rail Station. This is a super facility a short distance from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The airport and station are linked by shuttle buses 80A and 86A with the train running into the city centre. Trains also run from this station to Manchester and Birmingham. South Parkway would also be a good choice if you are planning to stay in the south side of the city as there are a number of stops before it reaches the city centre.

    Please note this is an alternative not a replacement to the airport shuttle bus that links to the airport with Liverpool city centre
