The city that never sleeps | Kaiser Chiefs Airwaves Festival 2006 |
Although Reykjavik has its share of tourist attractions for me this is a great city just to hang out. Bookshops, cafes, music shops, galleries, restaurants and original clothing shops make this a great place to be. At weekends the party begins but not until after midnight when most locals come out to play. If your in search of intoxication get yourself along to the Government run 'Vin Buo liquor store during the day and party in your hotel before going out unless you had a shed load of money! |
| | Check Out The Music No visit would be complete without seeking out the local bands and music. The Reykjavik music scene is full of bold, adventurous and talented bands. Who could resist the siren calls of Mr Silla and Mongoose. Mr Silla in fact being as beautiful as she is talented. As for Mongoose.... |
