If Oslo brings to mind the slightly depressing plays of Ibsen and those Troll dolls you had as a kid think again... Oslo is a great treasure. Although now i'm told the most expensive city in the world we found a bed (well bunk to be accurate) we could afford on the good ship Innvik. This old ship is permanently moored in Oslo harbour and combines a fab on- board music venue, cafe and a small number of cabins for rent. The cabins are err... let's say 'compact' with fittings strategically placed to ensure self-inflicted concussion, a fact soon forgotten as we fought over who should get the top bunk! |
| | Chilled City We loved the ambience of this city. Friendly people, loads of street performers, good bars and cafes, fab parks and more nude statues than you can shake a stick at! |
Board Heroes We took the metro to Holmenkollen and climbed the mega high ski jump. Fab' views from the top and a ski museum at the bottom. Great to see some recognition of top SnowBoarders including some of their old boards. | | |
