Summer Outing at Bataan

We had our company outing at Montemar Beach Resort at Bagac, Bataan. It was fun bonding with my new officemates here. :-)

White Cross, Mt. Samat, Bataan

On our way to the resort, we stopped first to visit the National Shrine at Mt. Samat. This huge white cross kinda symbolizes what the world war II veterans contributed to the country. This also sort of a remembrance of the Bataan Death March, where thousands of Filipino soldiers who were captured by the Japanese soldiers, were made to march to their death. Geez i gotta check my history so I'll modify this next time. hehehe

Wonderful page, beautiful sights and - Philipines are blessed with beautiful beaches of course. So far away, and so tempting. Greets from a sunny Holland, Paul
