Buenos Aires Hotel Tips by Northof60

We didnīt plan on staying here but due to an error in our booking at the Como en Casa ended up here for one night. It was great for the price ($107US). We had a suite for the 3 of us, beds were comfortable, quite, service was good, a big-screen TV in the lobby to watch the worl cup games, only a couple blocks from Florida Ave where a lot of tourist action is and breakfast was included.

Not a clasy place but it has some good points. The hostests, Flavia and Fernanda, are at the top of the list of highlights. They were friendly and eager to helpīin any way they could. We just had to describe what we wanted to do and they arranged it all. The location is also great - right 9in the heart of Palmenaro. There is a lot of restaurants and great night life in Palmero. For the day it is close to the zoo, parks, and a quick ride by Metro to downtown.

As for the downside: The beds were not great. We started off in a room for three. Our duaghterīs bed was soft and comfortable. Ourīs felt like plywood. We were moved to a suite for the third night and it was much more comfortable (more expensive too but worth the expense) The first room was also noisy when there were other guests. Sound travels easily through the walls and halls. The suite was a little more isolated and we didnīt hear others there.
