I was born in Bucharest, Romania quite a few years ago (it is not important how many years ago that was...)! I grew up in Romania and moved to Ottawa, Canada, when I was almost 24 years old. I wanted at that point to make Canada my home, but life is full of surprises! Few years later, the company I was working for at the time sent me to Chicago, USA for a 9 months long assignment. When this happened I thought that it was just a 9 months long assignment. Needles to say that I found myself moving all my stuff to Chicago shortly after coming to the Windy City. It's been more than 10 years now and I am still in Chicago, still in love with the city and everything that makes Windy City famous.
I like traveling (who does not?), but it is always hard to find the time to do it as often as I would like to. I have been to few places in North America, Europe and Central America. Now I just need to find the time to start building up the pages that share some of the wonders I discovered in all the places I have visited! My hobbies include natural medicine (you will always find me with a book about natural medicine remedies in my hand when I am relaxing on the patio), gardening, hiking with my dog, skating and camping. I love nature and I love being outdoors, so I do not let any chance I have to spend my time in the middle of the nature, pass me by! My dog enjoys the outdoors as much as I do and he is always waiting for a long walk or a hike.
