We chose an easier path then these folk. We were suspended in the comfort of a gondola for 45 minutes over the Glacier du Geant and Vallee Blanche. The entire trip took about 2 hours. It was an incredible experience traveling from from La Palud, Italy to Chamonix, France. For some unknown reason, I decided to put the travelogue Over the Alps in France instead of Italy. Lots more pictures coming .. stay tuned. This page represents the short version of our time in France. It extended from May 24 thru June 11 plus June 17-19 in Chamonix.
