We arrived in Paris on an overnight train from Venice at about 8am on a Sunday morning. If you are dependent on the Tourist Information for lodging, DO NOT expect the TI in the train station to be open on a Sunday morning. By the time we found our way to the TI, which was on the Champs Elysee, it was late afternoon. After dropping our stuff off in our room, we started out walking and ended up at the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral. |
