Kiev Travel Guide: 1,662 reviews and 4,236 photos
Out of the classical triangle Kiev - Moscow - Saint Petersburg, Ukraine is not an usual destination as a whole. That said, the country is not really prepared for tourism, as the price - quality in hotels and restaurants does not really match. Anyway, if you wanna do an authentic travel, Ukraine is the perfect destination.
We took a flight from Barcelona to Kiev with Ukrainian International Airlines, that offers airlines tickets at a reasonable price. The plane was quite small, but the service was correct and the four hours trip went by fast. From Barcelona, the plane arrives at Boryspil, approximately to an hour from the center of Kiev.
