Natal, the city of the sun

Natal by cecmix
As the name says, if the sun doesn't live here, it has at least a summer house at this place.
It is simply fantastic! The beaches, the dune, the sun...wow!
There are a lot of places to visit around the city and many sport activities. Or if you just want peace, you only have one of the 10 most beautiful beaches of Brazil just in front of you.
The wind blows constantly, but this is really a blessing. Without this 'natural' air conditioning, it would be extremely hot.
Here you can even get suntan in the shadow, so be prepared to use a suncream with at least factor 30.
If you are used to the rhythm of a great city, please be prepared...here life flows in another pace. No hurries. Be patient to wait for the waiter, for getting your order and even for receiving the bill. Just take time and be relaxed. You're on holiday anyway, aren't you?
Just enjoy the sun, the wind, the nature...why this hurry? :-)
The best restaurants are in Ponta Negra. The beach there is not the most beautiful one, but the food...hummmmm.....
Genipabu by cecmix

Genipabu

Just 20 km north from Natal you'll reach Genipabu. Very famous for its dunes and the buggy rides along the dunes or the coast.
It is really worth doing it, not only because of the awesome landscape, but because of the joy of the experience.

Praia da Pipa

84 km south from Natal you'll find the Pipa Beach. It is considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Brazil.
Maybe because of this reason there are a lot of foreigners there.
If you're in Natal, you can either rent a car or take part in one of the many tours offered by different agencies.
In terms of prices, hotels are generally more expensive than in Natal. But food and drink are more or less like in Natal.
