Yu Feng Heng Hotel: The hotel I stayed for my trip

Yu Feng Heng Hotel, built 300 years ago, is the first of Pingyao’s traditional guesthouses, and is about 100 meters from the centre of the city. During the Qing Dynasty, the owner was famous for assisting poor students and it given the name Ju Yi Jiu (Help Others) Hotel by the leader of the county. Later the Liu family changed the name to Yu Feng Heng.

Unique Qualities: The grey bricks, old tiles, red lanterns, candle light, and Ming and Qing style furniture will take you back hundreds of years. In addition to these old fashioned touches,the modern conveniences such as color TV, air conditioning,and modern bathrooms are served.

I would like to say this hotel is at the grade of 2 stars hotel. All the other facilities are good only the bathroom needs to be improved. The room is very warm at night only somewhat cold at dawn time.

Tianyuankui Hotel: My favourite Hotel at Pingyao Tian Yuan Kui Hostel Review

You’d better choose Tianyuankui Hotel if you will stay in Pingyao. Tianyuankui Hotel which is only about 100 meters away from the centre of the city was built in the year of 1791.During Jin and Shang dynasty, it was very famous and booming and now it is popular again.

Unique Qualities: ☆ When you enter the Tianyuankui Hotel, you will feel the wind of the classical culture and see the red lanterns and the candle lights too, you can also taste the sweetness of the tea; all of these will make you pleasant.

☆ In the courtyard, blue bricks, old tiles, and the stone carving lions and the broad tables and chairs will takes you hundreds even thousands of years ago. Thus, you can learn more about the people living in the old dynasties.

☆In the house, you will see the ancient furniture of Ming and Qing style, the easy and smooth paintings, in contrast to these, there are modern facilities such as color TV and air conditioning and so on for your convenience. The washronoms are clean and tidy; you will feel at home if you are in the house.
