The island from afar

Good hiking trails where you might see iguanas or an anteater. Possibly the second oldest church in the western hemisphere. Best food we found on Taboga is at Restaurant Aquario. Good portions and great prices. Chicken with rice, salad and a beer will run you maybe $6! Nice people too. Beer is only fifty cents!

VIEW OF THE CITY FROM WATER

You can get to Panama City every day by ferry in only 45 minutes. It has great shopping and some very good restaurants. Go to either Multi Centro or Multi Plaza for shopping. The restaurant Paladar at Multi Plaza has good food. Also try Taverna 21 for medium priced but really great food. There are some new casinos to gamble - Veneto Casino. The city is best seen with a taxi driver and taxis are cheap!
