You don't have to look far to see that people see this area as a great place to invest. The Mexican people are very friendly and are also very hard workers. The hotel I stayed at, The Grand Sunset Princess, had about 1,300 rooms and when totally finished there complex will be something like 4,000 rooms. I'm not 100% sure of this and it may iclude their sister hotel, The Capitian (?), which is being built right up the beach and will open in Dec..
Note, hotel was just up the road from Playa del Carmen and I didn't sight see so info is limited to where I stayed. |
