Vejer de la Frontera

WOW. You want to take great photos of this pueblo blanco, go here. You want close access to this remote section of the Atlantic Ocean, go here. The town is completely painted in white lying on top of a small mountain, providing incredible views of the surrounding valleys and distanced mountain ranges. The winding streets pave the way for tiny cafes and shops. The people are friendly. The food is great. Go to the supermarket at the end of Avenida Buenavista for cheap meats, chocolates and fruits. Nearby, you can visit towns like Barbate and Conil de la Frontera. And a must, go to El Palmar, WOW, the Atlantic Ocean is bright blue, with rolling waves and beautiful sand. It is desolate, with few beachgoers, practically undiscovered, since Spanish regulation prohibits certain construction along this coast of Andalusia.

Thanks for the great photos and tips on Vejer! It looks very inviting in the summer months and was just as spectacular in winter for my wife and I!

very pretty pictures, my family and I spent a day in the white city when we were staying in Malaga and we didn't take any photos! so thanks for a nice little stroll down memorylane! :-)
