Well, it's been a while since I wrote anything here. But then again, I haven't been traveling abroad for quite some time. I've done some domestic adventures to keep my heart at ease.

It's amazing how job and everyday life easily occupy most of our attention; and months go by before you know it :(

Anyway, here are some new destinations, tips and photos. Some of the old ones have been updated with a thing or two :)

Trip planing for 2010

Since I'm short with time and budget this year, I've decided to explore more of my home country Croatia, and our neighbor Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The first on my wish list is Croatian national park - Mljet. Again.
I fell in love with the whole island the first time I saw it! You can spend months discovering it's beauties and you'll never get tired of it. I think the proper description is, like I mentioned on my Mljet page, - Heaven on Earth!

After Mljet I'd like to do some island hopping; I want to go to island of Vis (which has great party event at the beginning of August in place called Komiza - been there twice - two thumbs up!) then islands of Lastovo and Korcula, and end my trip with island of Hvar (this year, said to be one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world!).

I'm so excited to do this trip!!!
Plus, I enjoy days without mobile phones, computers and internet. Great anti-stress therapy :))

Next stop -> Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The coolest thing about this trip is that this will be the first road trip with my beautiful, new Suzuki SX4! B-)
Okay, enough with the bragging;

I haven't finally decided which route shall I take, but two things are for certain: visit to Sarajevo and eating ćevapi as humanly possible (Bosnian meat specialty - if made properly, food to-die-for! huge fan..).

I was thinking of this route; Livno - Kupres - Travnik (famous ćevapi) - Zenica (I was inspired by the song Zenica blues by Zabranjeno pušenje, Bosnian band :))) - Sarajevo and Mostar. I wish to visit Tuzla, Srebrenica and Banja Luka too, but I'm afraid that will be another road trip..

Of all the places and countries I've been so far, I think Bosnia is one of the prettiest ones. Not to mention that Sarajevo is definitely one of my favorite cities.

Lot of plans, lot of places. Hopefully I'll manage it all by the end of the year :)
