| | i am a princess i feel like a princess. i am treated to a weekend break in edinburgh, dinner, a show. its all very exciting. i love edinburgh. its the biggest town near our university and i am very fond of the old town. old windy streets and quirky pubs and shops. it is definately my most favourite british city (apart from belfast of course) and the SHOPPING!
i did however, get pooed on by a bird. and slightly tipsy on bacardi and coke (which i cannot touch now as i may retch) |
the royal mile - castle to holyrood the old town (and the royal mile) is like something in an old scary jack the ripper film-thing. i think it is gorgeous. old streets and alleys. and plenty of pubs. victoria street has a quirky atmosphere right in the centre of the old town. a lot of silly tartan shops in the old town, and bagpipers, but it is definately worth taking a look. | | |
| | princes street and gardens now. i can shops. and princes street has fantastic shops. after spending 3 hours in jenners i propose getting a sandwich and popping across the road to the princes street gardens which are beautiful in the nice weather and give the city a great european and student feel.
princes streets proximity to the railstation, gardens and castle as well as the old town make it very busy and very appealing to tourists. |
