i feel like a child! for everyone growing up in northern ireland the north antrim coast is a must, and if you havent been you cannot be northern irish. it is a fact. endless summers spent here before i got the travel bug. from portrush right along the coast the is scenery that northern ireland should be proud of. obviously the giants causeway and cliff walks need to be done, then a walk along the big beach before heading to portrush for a roller coaster ride at barrys (the ultimate themepark, disneyland hasnt got anything on barrys!) there is also waterworld, the dunluce centre and then a relaxing tea in portballantrae (formerly unspoilt sister town of portrush and portstewart) mainstreet portrush for an icecream and a game in an arcade before off to bed in one of the many hotels, b&bs or caravan arks in the area. |
