gouves is a small resort on the island of crete, 16k from heraklion. we were happy to stay there and there ws enough to do. the weather was perfect, if a little stormy. there were plenty of activities organised by the hotels or companies in the town. you would need to get out of it though, we were there 10days and after about 3 we hired a moped so we could leave! hersonissos (spelling?) is close by and worth a trip. |
