Wat Phra That Haripunchai was the only temple we visited in this town. The previous day we were in Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok and this old temple of Lamphun seemed like real temple – very quite without hordes of tourists. You can feel real atmosphere of buddhism there. Lamphun is very easy reachable from Chiang Mai. |

Feel the same about this temple in Lamphun; much better than these overcrowded wat's in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. |
