La Trinite is a small town on the coast of Southern Brittany - the birthplace of Jean-Marie Le Pen - and has about a population of about 1500. It is a great place to base yourself to explore this part of Brittany - there are scores of beautiful coves and sandy beaches within a few minutes; Carnac with its megaliths is literally just up the road - and the Gulf du Morbihan is just to the south. The ancient towns of Auray and Vannes are but a short drive away. |
| | The Port This is where you will find restaurants - great seafood along here (see tips) - souvenir shops, art galleries, icecream shops (yummy italian stuff!), a great open-air pottery place, cafes and bars, creperies and a fish market. Nice to wander along and watch the boats (whilst eating an icecream of course!). |
