    I was told that this is the most expansive restaurant in town.The fishes are fresh,caught from the lake ,smoked/ grilled.Looking at the menu these are sold on a per 100 gram basis for around Eur 40 if i am not mistaken.As i am from island country with abundance of seafood,fresh water fish is definitedly not my cup of tea..Hence,I did not want to spend on something that is not to my palate ,never mind how famous this restaurant is!The waiters are dressed in old bavarian style with a dark leather apron.apron.

     Hi Hallstatt is a hidden gem, we had 2 hours there on our way to Salsburg, we should have missed Salsburg. The lake is something special.
