Not very crowded and good place to for reflection.
Easily acess by the east -west higway.Car journey is approx.4 hrs.
swimming,strolling along the beach and watching the great leatherback tutrles coming ashore to lay eggs during season.
15 mins to Chukai Town,which is interestingly rustic kampong style.The town has a coffee shop(long established) that sell fantastic toast spread with kaya and good home brewed coffee.There is also a well known restuarant for seafood especially crab meat stuff in crab shell,but beware of imitations..go for the original

The hotel ground is spacious.However buliding looks worn and weary.Aircon in our room was noisy and overdue for servicing.However considering the rates of US$61-00 versus the high rates of neighbouring Club Med;this is still acceptable.
