I spent many years living here in my formative years. I left after high school and now only visit on occasion to visit friends and family. All...and I repeat all of my friends that I shared my youth with are married with children now. Its just what you do there. Very safe and stable.

Excelsior commons

This is Excelsior commons during the Christmas holiday. I spent many a winter's day driving out on the frozen lake in my youth here. You could get your car up over 100 mph if there were no snow drifts. Today excelsior is know for its family friendly atmoshpere in the summer and its quite solitude in the winter months.

If you do not take advantage of the winter experience by getting out in it, you will indeed go crazy. Building snow sculptures, cross country skiing and having snow ball fights are all rights of passage.
