    • Restaurant Name: Cafe Konditorei Zauner

    Cafe Konditorei Zauner is a wonderful restaurant located in the middle of Bad Ischl town. It was first opened in 1832 and still remains as a popular cafe with both locals and visitors. The cafe still maintains the features of traditional Austrian coffee-house culture from the vintage looking furnitures to the serving style.

    The pastry shop sits in the front of the cafe where you can get all sorts of wonderful cakes and sandwiches. At the back is a lovely salon for patrons to dine and socialise. Traditional Austrian dishes are available from the menu as well as an extensive selection of desserts from pastries to ice-cream.

    Favorite Dish: My favourite is the eis palaschinken or ice-cream pancake
