The Famous Baroque Benedictine monastery

My sister was singing praises of how beautiful Melk is. I couldn't agree more and I took a road trip there in the spring of 2005. The journey through the beautiful villages was fantastic and when we finally arrived in Melk, I only had this one chance to take this picture before the rain came and wouldn't go away for hours. Better luck next time :)
