Harry Ramsden: Yummy fish & chips

I went to the original fish & chips shop opened by the infamous Harry Ramsden in Guiseley near Leeds. The restaurant is furnished in an English themed style complete with red carpets, chandeliers & stained glass windows

I was told that Harry Ramsden family had sold the business and is now available in many locations around the world

Favorite Dish: I had a tough time to choose from the choices of fishes available e.g haddock, cod, salmon where you can have it battered, fried or grilled. The desserts are very good too, I had the cheese cake. Yummy!!

Bronte: Classic English restaurant

Bronte restaurant is located in De Vere Oulton Hall Hotel, and I've been told that it has received the Rosette Award. You can expect French and English cuisine while enjoying the very English environment. I can't remember what I had but it was a pork dish and it was good. They also serve house wine which is pretty good. However, the service is a bit slow and they got some of our orders wrong
