Florence | A copy of David in Piazza della Signora |
I would have to say that my first trip to Florence in 2006 had exceeded my expectations. This is truly a beautiful and cultural city full of art & history, wherever you look.
Just under 2 hours by train from Rome, Florence is an easy excursion and a must visit for history & arts buff, especially after visiting the capital. Besides history & art, another must do is the wonderful food and fashion. Home to international designers e.g Ferragamo, Fendi & Pucci, you won't leave Florence without a trip to the designer boutiques, or in my case, the designer retail outlet not far from the city.
What a lovely experience and even after spending 5 days here, I haven't finished discovering a fraction of what Florence has to offer. |
