Argolidas was once the heart of Greece during the rule of the Mycenaeans back in 1600 to 1100BC. It takes about 2 hours to get to the country/state of Argolidas from Athens which makes it a great weekend destination for those living in the capital.
On my way here, I could see several historical buildings and ancient ruins. The drive itself was fabulous as I'm rewarded with endless scenic views of the countryside. There are many historical landmarks, attractions as well as pretty towns to visit and you'll be spoiled for choice. |
