"Abu Dhabi" a Abu Dhabi Travel Page by toni28

Abu dhabi is the capital of UAE it is one of the most modern cities in the world, tall offices, appartment buildings, shops etc...

Visiting Abu Dhabi was unplanned trip it was only a 24 hours stop over of Etihad Airway when I went to Philippines back to Riyadh. Though the air plane arrived at late evening all passengers who had a stop over for 24 hrs were being picked up by etihad bus and brought straight to the hotel.

From the airport it takes about an hour trip to the city center where our hotel's accomodation has been located.

Since our flight back to Riyadh was 7pm, We (with the 3 passengers I've met) took the opportunity to strool the city we woke up early in the morning to go out the hotel, we were just walking along the road and had a bit of shopping where lots of shopping store nearby the hotel were being found.

Also we tried to take taxi to reach the Abu Dhabi mall when one of filipino told us that abu dhabi mall is the biggest mall in the Country, We just went around and round, had a great window shopping and suddenly we didn't notice the time and hurried up to go back to the hotel.

We went back to the air port at 3pm.

From the hotel on our way back to the air port was day time so I took the opportunity to view the scenes of abu dhabi, I took some pictures that you can see in my travelogues.
