"Wider than tall, like wrippling blue sheets" Agua Azul by DSwede

Originally my colleague and I were planning to spend the night here and continue with our weekend trip the following morning. However after walking the falls, swimming in the pools and walking the corridors of souvenir shops, we decided to return to Palenque instead.

With that being said, staying in Agua Azul is possible and can be worth it depending on the situation, but we would have been the only ones in town without any other entertainment.

• Pros:Crystal clear sheets of blue water (except for in heavy rain)
• Cons:Accommodation and entertainment options are limited, so may just make it a day trip.
• In a nutshell:A natural wonder well worth a visit.
