"Quaint Town with Some Good Whitewater" Jalcomulco by DSwede

Jalcomulco Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 8 photos

Jalcomulco is a small relatively quiet town in the mountains, not far from Xalapa. This is the type of town I enjoy the most, small enough to walk everywhere, free of tourists so that you can mingle with the locals freely and surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

Most people who come here do so for the rafting and other adrenaline activities. If you come, you should do the same and don't leave before you try the camarones de rio.

Feel free to visit my Mexico page for more on my time and visits to other places within Mexico.

(for more pictures, feel free to visit my Mexico Gallery. If you enjoy the pictures, please leave a comment.)
