"How far North-West can you go?" Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge by DSwede

Truely one of my favorite places to do a day's hike or a long weekend camp.

Along the mind boggling lengths of sand spits and tidal areas, there are countless pieces of driftwood, crabs, clams, occassional seals, even seen a few orcas in the open water...

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Possiblities to get up front and personal with some of wildlife
  • Cons:only con... you'll smell like seaweed when you're done
  • In a nutshell:A place for an afternoon walk or weekend camping trip, lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.
