Duluth Travel Guide: 305 reviews and 463 photos
I've been to Duluth several times, used it as a base for camping the north shores like Gooseberry Falls, hiking between the light houses and accessing the ski Area Lutsen.
Duluth is also a good stopping point for driving north to Ely canoeing in Quetico & BWCA.
You can stop at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth on your way up from Minneapolis.
Its a wonderfully historic city, with a character unique to the north midwest.
Summers are wonderful, with nature all around. Winters can be pretty nasty with the artic cold and humidity from Lake Superior.
