I've been through New Orleans several times now, both before and after the infamous Hurricane Katrina hit. Certain neighborhoods are the same and certain ones are still showing signs...

But since I'm the latest one in the ranks of thousands to write on New Orleans, I have yet to find something that I could add here that has not already been posted.

Windows by night

There's the day life as shown above, full of music, art, architecture, cuisine and everything in between.

And then there's the night life... full of music, cuisine and fun, regardless of how you define it.

• Cons:There's a lot of tourist traps and petty crime.
• In a nutshell:Come for the food and music; stay for the weather, the architecture and history.
