Living in
Tarragona, Salou was only ~10km further down the coast. Many weekend nights and days were spent here.
The fall and winter months are dead quiet. When Europe takes its collective holidays in August/September, Salou never sleeps. But in February/March, all the local shop owners that cater to the tourists close up and take their vacations.
Salou is littered with bars, clubs, hotels, fast food, restaurants, shops, etc. It is a mecca for beach going vacationers.
