"First stop in the open lands" `Ibri by DSwede

`Ibri Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 3 photos

To reitterate what I said on my overal Oman page, this town is small, quiet, but is a decent enough spot to freshen up your body and car with some food and fuel. Driving into and out of Ibri, the roads are open to the vast deserts, often having sand pelted across the roads as you drive. As you go south, the mountains get closer to you.

For more thoughts on my time in passing through, feel free to visit my Oman page.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:First oportunity for banks, ATM's, fuel and food.
  • Cons:Aside from saying you've been there, not much more to do
  • In a nutshell:A tiny town, basically a place to fill your car and your belly if needed.
