"A little English in the Latin Jungle" Belize City by DSwede

My stop in Belize was short, but good nonetheless. I really hope to make it back down to Belize as part of a complete over-land Central America backpack trip.

We walked around the city and found our way out to Lamanai among other things. I was rather humbled and disappointed to learn that my camera's memory card was defective when trying to download my photos after my visit. Unlike all my other pages, the photos here will be lacking. I was only able to salvage ~5 photos from my own camera, but thankfully was able to borrow from some friends.

• Pros:Being an English country, non-Spanish speakers can find their way easily.
• Cons:The town thrives on the cruise ships, so be wary of the inflated costs and tours.
• In a nutshell:Lots of history crammed into a small place. You can find things to do day after day.
