We never truly understood why the tourist board calls Uljin "The Land of Life". But we do know that it is famous for the crab fishing off the coasts and the nearby SBS television coastal set.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great fresh crab when its in season.
Cons:Aside from the caves, not much more to do
In a nutshell:A very quiet place, ideal for those looking to escape the cities.

Buryeongsa Temple seems worth the effort to get to...and for that matter...so does the beach..Seems a sleepy kind pf place..I like that idea :o)
