The Golden one History of Mont Saint Michel is well known. I like all these mysteries and legends that surround le Mont. C'est un haut lieu religieux et ésotérique qui fascine depuis mille ans. Le Mont Saint Michel create the border between Normandie and Bretagne, but it belongs to anyone. Le Mont is unique and alone is French landscape, on the sea. But the sand, came from rivers, suffocate the bay. Le Mont is no more an island when the high tide reach the rock. |
Le cloître This place is the heart and the holy part of le Mont Saint Michel, because of thousand or millions of paces, of footprints leaved by friars. We can feel their spirit around the square. In, the field of mind ; out, the dark blue sea with this view to skyline. It's like a ship, out of modern life, a stone ship on the sea. Les cloîtres des monastères sont des endroits calmes et frais, des endroits parfaits pour méditer, pour se reposer, pour lire, pour laisser le temps passer. |
La salle des Pilliers The Pillars Hall : dark and very old room. Roman pillars all around the view, like a deep forest with huge tree trunks without branches. Very strange atmosphere like a crypt. |
