La cathedrale de Metz is one of the most beautiful church in France. Built in the 13th century, in gothic style, it mix 2 little churches.
Metz is a very old city ; it's story begin 2000 years ago. The city was, in Middle Age, the capital of Austrasia, a kingdom of Francs.
History is everywhere in Metz.

In Christian Church, light is very important. But no a white light, coloured light through stained-glass window. Light plays a symphony on the pillars stone.

 Too bad I missed the Mirabelle Festival in 2001! But I had a nice visit to Metz just a few weeks ago. (Have a look at my Metz page if you feel like it.) I see you have signed up for a Paris meeting later this month. Hope to see you there.
