Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: When visiting the park remember to bring shoe that are comfortable for walking in sand. This is important for two reasons;

1) In summer the sand gets extremely hot and will burn your feet. If you are going to walk here, you will be walking in sand!

2) Always bring or wear athletic shoes to the park. These are the only type of shoes that are comfortable walking on the dunes for any lenght of time.

Photo Equipment: Yes, by all means bring a camera. Theres some great photos to be taken here. But please take care not to let sand get into you equipment! At the end of the day, it seems that sand has a way to get everywhere.
