We flew from Rome, Fiumicino to Paris, Beauvais. We then took a bus from Beauvais to the city. We tried to get on the subway which took about an hour because of the ticketing differences. Got off the subway and walked around for an hour trying to find the hotel! |
I love Paris We found the hotel and went directly to the Louvre. I thought my legs would explode from walking around Rome but it would be worth it if I saw the Mona Lisa or some other DaVinci's. |
The Louvre It cost about 8.50euro to get into the Louvre. Not bad for a world-famous Museum. We walked around the Napolean III rooms and sat down. Found a magnificent view worth taking a picture and using it for my intro. We also found Her, the Mona Lisa. It made me wonder why-out of so many different paintings from that time period, of so many different people-why she became the most famous? What is so special about her? Is it the mysterious smile? Her posture? |

Nemorino Thu Dec 28, 2006 00:27 UTC Next time you're in Paris, try renting a bicycle. It's better than the Metro any day. |
