Kyusyu's smallest prefecture, Saga is located on the northwest corner of the island, bordered by the Genkai Sea and the Tsushima Strait to the north and the Ariake Sea to the south.

Saga's close proximity to mainland Asia has made it an important gateway for the transmission of culture and trade through Japanese history.

Where to visit

1) Karatsu-city
- Karatsu castle, called as Dancing Crane Castle
- Nijino Matsubara, is one of the famous Pine Tree Fields in Japan
- Mount Kagamiis

2) Nagoya castle ruins, is located in Chinzei-machi

3) Arita, is the birthplace of Japanese porcelain

4) Utoku Inari Shirine, is one of big-three Inari Shirine in Japan

5) Yoshinagari iseki
