    An annual sports event in Reykjavik is the Reykjavik Marathon, which takes place in mid-August in the capital. In the year 2003 we celebrate its 20th anniversary. This event has become immensely popular, and there are thousands of participants from Iceland and abroad every year. You can choose between a full marathon, half marathon or 10km run.

     The story of Saemund and the Seal brings to mind an article I read about 3-4 yrs ago about the importation of exotic wildlife. Have the alligators arrived to the hot springs yet?
