The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is an independent sovereign state and constitutional monarchy bounded by France, Germany and Belgium. It is a land of diverse terrain and rural countryside. One third of the country is forest, and some villages are so isolated that they maintain their freedom from excessive tourism. French, German and Luxembourgeois are the official languages, but English is spoken everywhere.
